Quick introduction

Welcome to our web site I shall first introduce myself to you, my name is Germie Antoni-Struijk and I have for about ten years Maltese. Our site is a production of our lovely and adorable dogs and I would like to introduce you to my kennel, so you all know what kind of beautiful dogs we have.

But first let me introduce you to my husband which I married in 2002. In those years as he met me he also fell for the beautiful Maltese breed. Thanks trough him this all wouldn't be possible. He not only helps me with the daily care but also with showing the dogs and our administration. He made this home site for me just the way I liked it.

A lot of years ago I bought my first dog ,Wodan a rottweiler. He was a dear invaluable dog. He stayed over 9 years with me (off coarse much to short). After his dead I wanted another dog but now one which would live a little longer, a smaller since which I could take with me very easily (because I had my own clothing shop) After a long search I ended by the Maltese breed. Now the only thing I had to do was buying one and this wasn't the easiest job to do.

I finally bought my first male dog by the kennel Countess of Holland. This dog is called Loris Azarro van Countess of Holland (we call him Smousy) and he like me so much that I wanted another one, a bitch, so I could take a litter in about a few years later. Better said than done because finding a good bitch was even harder than a male dog. That's were I found my present girlfriend Bea of the kennel Dinky Diamonds. The bitch has the official name White Crystal of the Dinky Diamonds but we call her Queeny.

On the advice of my girlfriend at first I went showing my bitch, which I thought was nonsense because to me she was beautiful. But above my expectations it went very well.
At her first club match she was best of breed, first in her group and 4th of the show. This is how I caught the act of showing and later I also took my male dog to the shows. First a club match to practice. He became BOB (best of Breed) and together with Queeny the first in the leash class and finally second in the group. That day I went home with four beautiful bowls.

At his first international show Smousy became substitute champion, so my proud couldn't be broken. When Queeny was two years of age I wanted a litter because this was always a very high wish of me. So I went studying propagation (which so many things are involved). I had some help of Bea and will always be thankful for that. After the birth of the newborn litter I went into trouble because I couldn't give up the pups so I kept them all. Its very nice to have a litter and to see them grow, I can enjoy it everyday just looking at it. So my choice the keep them was very easy. I went from two Maltese dogs all at once to 6 dogs and thought a litter this is what I want to have more. So I requested a kennel name. Because I like crystal and the dogs are white and can dance so beautiful on their back legs I came with the name Crystal Snowdancers. The kennel was born!!

I only had one problem, the next litters it was impossible to keep all the pups to myself. The goodbye to my pups is even today very hard for me. Even if I know that the new bosses are very well to them. We always deliver the pedigree ourselves and this way we see all our sold dogs and there new owners after 6 months back. When I see how good and happy the people are with there new friend and what a good life the dogs have with there new owners it pleases me well. I always say to myself "Germie you are doing it very well.

"Curious about my dogs? Oké LET's MEET THE SNOWDANCERS Bitches or Male Dogs
