The Maltese has a very long body, the chest is wide.
The top line of the back is straight until the tail.
The front legs are standing straight against the body and are in one line..
The back must be in a whole firm leg structure, parallel seen from behind and vertical from the sitting leg till the ground.
The thigh-bone is heavily muscled, the back is round.

The Maltese nature is human contact. That's why a dog never should stay home alone very long. |
